Date: 25-28 November 2026
Venue: Palais des Arts et de la Culture, Tangier, Morocco
The 2026 edition of MEDays takes place against an international backdrop marked by profound change. The certainties that once shaped international relations are gradually fading away; alliances are being redefined; rivalries are becoming more overt; and economic, technological, energy and security balances are growing increasingly unstable. The world is no longer merely experiencing successive divisions: it is now permanently fragmented.
In light of this reality, MEDays 2026 aims to launch a substantive debate on the choices facing states, institutions, businesses and societies. The theme ‘A Fragmented World: A Time for Choices’ encapsulates this ambition: to move beyond mere commentary on crises and instead examine the decisions, trade-offs and responsibilities that will determine the balance of power in the future. Since 2008, the MEDays Forum has established itself as a unique platform for strategic dialogue, bringing together political, economic and intellectual decision-makers to discuss major global transformations. As a ‘Forum of the South’, MEDays provides a space where Africa, the Arab world and the ‘Global South’ can set out their priorities, defend their interests, propose their solutions and engage in dialogue on an equal footing with their international partners.
