Under the purview of the Department of Climate Change and Energy, Government of Seychelles, ZERO13, SECDEX Group Limited, and Island Carbon Consult, are organising a side event at the Africa Pavilion.

Objectives of the event:

• Explore how tokenisation of green RWAs can accelerate sustainable investment in Africa’s nature-based and low-carbon assets.
• Demonstrate how blockchain and digital MRV systems enhance credibility, liquidity, and investor confidence in sustainability-linked assets.
• Discuss the enabling infrastructure and regulatory frameworks required to integrate African carbon and sustainability assets into global markets.
• Identify how African financial institutions, project developers, and innovators can collaborate to scale climate finance through on-chain transparency and interoperability.
